Been looking online at them in 357 Mag, 8 shot cylinders, 4 and 5.5 inch barrels.

Beautiful revolvers, but it would seem to me that 49-52 ounces is awfully heavy for that caliber.

I got the 44 with a 7.5” barrel. So fun, built like tanks. I got some buffalo bore +p+ that I wouldn’t dare run through a smith. Giant fireball, great success.

Weight dampens the kick

I have a Ruger Single Six in 22/22 mag. Most accurate 22 I've ever shot.

It is, but it gets you 8 rounds in a majorly overbuilt frame. Certainly not a concealed carry piece but its lots of horsepower in what will be a very easy to shoot package.

If you are looking for something that carries well, a GP100 or smith 686+ will get you 7 rounds in a smaller package.

I got one in .41 magnum as well, really sweet shooter. The weight really helps with the recoil and it will handle some really stout loads.

I would say it's made for the heavier calibers, if you want a .357 get a GP100.
