It was Beretta's first ever striker-fired pistol and has had some issues with trigger reset and such. Enough time may have gone by now where they have gotten all the bugs out, but no guarantee.

The owners manual specifies 124 grain or higher. The only time I've had FTE's w it were when I first bought it shooting 115 grain. If only owners would read the manual....

Is $350 a fair price on one of these? My local Academy has one in stock

Man..These things are all over my area. I was just in huntsville yesterday, and Mr. Hornady himself was doing an ammo sale, along with Rugers. they were having a sale in huntsville. My buddy bought a brand new in the box sr9c 9mm along with 100 rounds for 470..

he hasnt got to shoot it yet, but it is a very nice looking gun. Feels good too

I don't see why I would ever buy a gun that won't feed 115gr target ammo considering that's about 95% of what's on the shelf.

Owners of the Kimber Solo say the same thing and it begs the question - why not buy a similar carry gun that digests all types of ammo? I don't wanna have to spend a fortune to break it in and make regular visits.

But, all in all, it's up to the user. If it feels good for you and you like it, that's all that matters.
