Rigolets/bridges reports this week?

Heading out there Friday. Will have some live and dead shrimp, but will start off using artificials. Anyone fish the area recently?

Really haven't put together a game plan yet. We are in a small fishing tornement Friday so I figure we would shoot for big specks at the spans at some point during the day. Biggest red/speck are the ones we shooting for. Other categories are offshore

Caught and seen other people catch some nice specks on South Side of the trestles. Pontchartrain pop with matrix shad.

Are matrix shad the flavor of the week? I see a lot of people talking about them lately.

I love matrix shads, good action, but they think it is the only think created that will catch fish.

It's not the only thing just what I caught most on. I caught some on gulp alive and live shrimp too.
