Damn, I was planning to be there, but Cross Country racing will be every Saturday this fall. Episcopal that Saturday at Highland Park. Sucks for me.

This is going to be a fun event! they will have lots of prizes and a steak dinner at the captain's meeting Friday night. Should be a good show also. There are some good reports for bulls loading up in the pass right now!

Just finished putting new line on my reels and I'm ready to go. I'll be the guy in the yellow Hobie with an LSU flag and no fish.

I couldn't make it. My brother in law went and finished 7th. Said that there was over 160 kayaks entered.

I got smoked. Caught white trout and a speck, but no big reds. Had a blast, though. I'll be there again next year.

WTH? Sherman finally caught a fish? I'm stunned.
I read that 170 entered, but very few fish were caught, maybe less than 20. Just an off day in the pass. I would have liked to have seen 100+ kayaks in Barataria Pass for sure.
