Any one know how deep the gas lines would be buried around your house? I called LA One Call to come mark everything but I still need to know the depth of the lines. I'm about to till up my yard with a tractor rototiller and want to make sure.

No way. You'd never be able to repair them. I think 18-24 inches deep. Don't remember mine for sure.

I don't think a toto tiller will go deep enough. But get a steel probe and find them. Or dig up a spot and see how deep.

Durr

Dig them up and find out where they are and how deep they are. There is not a standard, but it has to be below 18" IIRC

Hand dig in a few of the marked spots to find depth. The markings are not always right on. I think they have an 18" variance on each side of the marks.

Is it poly flex or galvanized ?

If galv just go for it dont worry bout it.

Itll be 12-18 inches and ya aint gonna dig near that far.
