My dumbass pulled one side through all the way and I forgot to tape my new wire to the old one.

Sooooo.....I need an idea on how to get my line through 15' of the trailer.

Fish tape. $10 at Lowe’s or amazon.

Hell, if you’re around Thibodaux, come borrow mine.

Just saw your name, nevermind. But yes, fishtape. Or even weed eater string or a regular tape measure. Anything that you can push.

If you are trying to get it through a piece of tubing take a long string and tie a small plastic bag on it, take a shop vac and put on the other end and turn vac on. The object is to suck the bag attached to the string through and then tie to wire and pull everything through.

Fishtape is great also but most people don't have one laying around.

This! Butt weld each of them! (And post the pics after)

Seriously though.....Fishtape. Someone said most people don't have one hanging around, but its a damn good (cheap) thing to have.

Ho-Lee-shite. This is Einstein level. I would have never thought of that.

I keep a fiberglass fish rod handy along with the tape. Unfortunately I replaced my wiring and lights last month and something is already fricked up.

I just bought a trailer with no lights on it so I just zip tied the wires to the outside. Looks trashy but I wanted to go fishing after work today.

The obvious answer is a new trailer

This is how we ran electrical wire through conduit to my dock. We just frayed the end of the string though, didn't think to add a bag.
