Lol @ “fart” in the link. Well done.
And for those who haven’t used stainless tumblers - I’ve used one for 6 years and will never go back to dry media. The stainless is consistent and does a great job cleaning the outside, inside, and primer pocket of the case.

It's on amazon for cheaper. not much but cheaper.
Just FYI. I may be ordering one. I've been wanting to get a wet tumbler.
ETA: Grafs and sons has it as well. Like to order from them and it's in stock.
And I did order it...
Thanks for the heads up.

I agree with everything Bapple said and would only add that it cleans the brass in way less time. I can run a batch of 9mm through it in 90 minutes and it looks new and no dust!

Two questions.
For a while there was some talk about how wet tumbling hardens or makes brittle brass. There was some talk about it being dangerous. Anyone ever read or hear anything like that. I always figured it was
Bs.
Also does anyone think you could use it on a .22 suppressor?

I've never heard that but my experience with it over the last 3 years has been positive and I've shot 6-7 thousand 9mm rounds after cleaning and loading. I find the brass wears normally or no more so than with traditional media.
Again, I've never heard of anyone cleaning a suppressor this way. I've heard of using a sonic cleaner. Other than hot water, there are no chemicals involved in wet cleaning other than Dawn dishwashing detergent (or any mild detergent. I use liquid car wash) and Lemishine (a water softener). I suppose the aggitating action of the water and pins could reasonably clean a suppressor but I'd be afraid it may damage it. I don't know. I would look into that a little more before trying it.

I get all that with cob dry media with Frankford Arsenal brass polish and a glob of Nu Finish car polish. No dust, the media doesn't stick, brass comes out bright and slick, and it stays bright months later. I have a separate shop so I can set the vibrator on a timer and walk away so I don't have to hear it. Great thing is I can leave it all in the tumbler for several days if I'm too busy to get back to it and the brass is still beautiful.

Stainless is the way to go. You may not see the dust, but it’s there. Also, the supplies (if the media is replaced as per the recommendations) is much higher with dry tumbling. Even more sonif you are adding a polishing agent.

Cob media lasts plenty long, cheap too. I'm not concerned with the cost as much as the outcome and convenience. Once the brass is tumbled into the media seperator its done except for sorting and resizing. It doesn't tarnish and it runs through the dies easier than new brass. Also I can run other things in the media like antique parts for something I'm restoring that can't go in a wet tumbler. I've looked into a wet tumbler, I might get a setup in the future, but for now there isn't enough overall benefit for me.
