Ha, they told me they didn't provide that. Reeds told me the same thing.

Who did your concrete? Did St. Pierre do your sewer treatment?

You may need to double check w them.

I’m waiting on 2 different contractors for my bids right now.
The lot I bought already had treatment on it. I was lucky, only had to get it re certified, which was easy.

for plumbing, in order
Comeaux plumbing out of Raceland - request Marlin and bring Miller Lite, he may cut a deal.

Rousse out of golden meadow. went to school with him, good peoples.

then Badeaux.

I'd hit up comeaux first. get my number or email from Sonoma and I can put you in touch directly with marlin

Are the regs for septic tanks the same for a camp versus an RV? Need a new septic tank at the camp.

Department of health regulates sewage treatment. You can find their guidelines on their website.

And I'd talk to the installation guy, he can help you out. Everyone I've talked to said the guy mentioned previously in the thread, Ruvin St.Pierre, will be your best bet.

I didn't know a camper lot could be so heavily regulated...and expensive. Seems the budget grows at every turn.

You don't need a plumber to install a Modad.

I installed mine and the outflow pipe years ago.

Edit: This was not in Grand Isle, but in Cameron parish. Maybe GI has different rules, but it's not required to be installed by a licensed plumber. I bought my Modad from a company in Breaux Bridge.

And it's just a 100 gallon septic. Called a "limited use septic system" approved for RV's and house boats. 3-33 gal containers piped and strapped together.

Is that towards me or Martini?

I replied to martini therefore aimed at him. It was a rhetorical question because all he suggested was call a plumber and electrician.

Just in case anyone uses this thread as a reference in the future...

Pretty sure you do need a licensed installer in Grand Isle. I don't think Lafourche Parish Parish Health Unit will give the blessing to anyone other than a licensed installer, installing a mo-dad. They also require a detailed plan of your lot and planned installation.

Also, a mo-dad type system is required, a septic tank won't cut it. Minimum 500 gallon for a camp or a lot with a camper.
