What are your feelings on the new mag release? Should they have left it euro-style?
I really like the paddle release on the P30, its super quick when you get use to using your index finger to use it. I have to rotate the gun in my hand to use the thumb release, not so with the paddles on the HKs and walthers. However, the one that walther incorporated just wasn't as good as the P30, it was narrow and just "didn't feel as good". The US market definitely prefers thumb buttons for their mag release. Walther did release a statement saying they would continue to manufacture the paddle PPQs as well as the new button ones.
