I would never shoot one unless I'm eating it. They are too beautiful to shoot. Yes they hunt deer, but so does my Pops and buddies.

Had a very large tom that was routinely stalking and spooking deer this year. Could watch it actively try and get close enough to yearlings to spring. I never got a shot at him because there were always deer close when I saw him. Landowner was sitting in my stand and blew him away. Was fun to watch but not sad he is gone.

I've shot a few of the bigger ones i've seen, but it has to be at the end of my hunt or when my confidence is low. Feels like i've always seen them at prime time and can't make myself pull the trigger.

I've probably seen 5 times the bobcats as i have coyotes. I never see coyotes for some reason.
