Python catch video

Here’s the video from the 13 ft. Burmese python catch a couple nights ago. Lots of heavy breathing involved - by both me and the snake. 
Started out trying to wear out the snake with one hand while filming with the other, but luckily some python contractors pulled up a few minutes later and got the video of my catch. The snake was handed off to them afterwards for euthanasia.

A lot of times these big snakes will crap all over the people trying to catch them and from what I understand, it is pretty foul smelling.
I've only had contact with 1 Burmese python and it was a 12 foot female that a friend of the family got when it was only 2 ft. long and he raised it to that size.
No telling how big it could have gotten if it hadn't died when they were out of town and had a power outage at their house with the snake being outside in a big cage I had built for it. It had 2 heat lamps that were set to go on at a certain temperature but power was lost and it died from the cold.

Not mine.
In the beginning I got control of the tail because she was a squirter, but after picking her up she got her second wind and sprayed me a bit. The next day my car still smelled like snake musk.
