I have some. You have to go to an eye doctor to get them. I like them. Some times it’s a pain carrying two sets of glasses but at least I can see when the sun is out. They cost a lot more cause you have to buy the frame then buy lenses. The lenses are what cost the most. Think my last set of lenses cost $300 but I got the 580p.

As stated, you definitely have to get your Rx from an optometrist...preferably one of the authorized retailers listed on Costa's site. It has been my experience that once your retailer of choice has your Rx on file you can simply call them to get a new frame/lens combination ordered using the same Rx. A few of the Rx frames only take 580p instead of 580g. Be ready to enjoy some $600-$700 fishing glasses.

My dad ordered me a pair from his eye doc down in Dothan AL. They were pretty cheap. I have the Howler's in driftwood frame with dark grey lenses. The place is called Denney Vision and they're real big down there. Look them up and give them a call, might be worth ordering from them and having them shipped to you. All you need is an up to date prescription. I faxed mine to him and he placed the order.

I have a set, worth the money to be able to drive and not be blinded by glare. I use them for everything and really limit the times I put in contact lenses now.

And I'll chime in again, for those with colored lenses, what are the advantages of blue/green? I mainly have my gray lenses for driving and running, but this pair is getting a little older and I need to get my eyes checked again. Got a little flex spending money left that I might put towards a new pair and keep these older ones just for messing around.

Don't do it.

Just use Daily contact lenses for when you will have your script glasses on a long time.

I have a pair of the Jose's in Blue Mirror and love them. I use them for fishing and driving. Prepare your checkbook.

I priced them out and were just too rich for my taste. Several of the optometrist I talked to said they dropped them due to their lens pricing. They said they offered similar type lenses for probably half the price of Costas but I haven't made the leap yet.

Go to your eye doctor and do it - worth the money.

I got some ray ban prescriptions as well...worth every penny and my HSA service said it was a qualified expense so I could use my HSA account.

i've bought prescription costas and oakleys from sportrx.com

easy to order, input RX info, and pay using my hsa card. it usually takes 1-2 weeks to build the glasses, but always had good service.

Have some. Not cheap, but I love mine. Even got progressive lenses. I can tie knots without taking sunglasses off to put reading glasses on! Changed my life!

IF you are in the Mandeville/Covington area I would be happy to help you, have an office am a dealer and will be happy to sit with you and help determine which color lenses for what you use them for.

I have some. Love em. Would be better if you could get them in bifocals as my advanced age dictates that I can't see shite within arms length without them.
