The "predator" didn't kill the colt, the vet did.

It is a blank panther. From the comments.

We didn't call a report to the LDWF but over the past 2-4 years, we have had several sightings of a large black panther in the suburbs of Darnell, La. This was during the daylight hours and it was definitely a large, wild cat and not an overgrown domestic cat. The cat was near a pasture that was full of killer donkeys! Not sure if the donkeys have defended their area against a big cat but they have been seen attacking coyotes or dogs that happen to wander into the pasture. Coyotes had killed several of our calves before we put the killer donkeys in the pasture!

And where can I get some of these "killer donkeys"

I don't think they are. The poster's name was mom of 3 boys. She may or may not even know how to troll.

It never ceases to amaze me how many have "seen" a panther/cougar and the % of them that were black. Of course, the people that have "heard" a cougar is exponentially greater. Nevermind the fact that if you've never heard one before, how are you sure you have heard on the first time? Truly, we would have hundreds of thousands of cougars (animal ones) in this state if all these sightings/hearings were true.

Oh, but I do still have that picture:

Exactly. Most of those are probably Bigfoot.
