Had a Talon get stuck in the down position twice in one year. PP all the way
Want to know the difference between the 2 if both get stuck? You can take a wrench/pliers and raise the Talon, you can't do that with a PP.

No tools needed, rock boat or move boat forward and then raise them. Keep loving those talons, different strokes for different folks.

Had the micropole on my kayak malfunction
Same here.
Pole was dropping randomly so I contacted them and they sent a new unit($600) without any questions asked... Next trip, it’s still acting up. I call PP back and they sent a new lithium battery ($200)without questions asked.
Their customer service is second to none fa sho.

power pole has the best customer service so I will always own one. I have an older pole and upgraded pumps to the Bluetooth one and had a hole in the line. they sent me free line and cut me a deal on the pump. I have the power pole and the I pilot and I like that setup way more. two poles isn't a bad thing though. if I was buying a new boat id probably have two installed.

I can see where having 2 would be awesome. I always have to position myself to be spun around by the current.

I see the usefulness of a PP for inshore salwater fishing, but I just dont for bassfishing in south LA

Super legit for marsh fishing

I use 2 to set up on a point in the marsh for flounder. I can put the boat so both my son's can cast to where the fish are. I tried to use 1 pole and the I pilot but it swings too much . With 2 poles it stays put even in a decent wind.
