So I have searched quite a bit and still haven't been able to find a definitive answer on this. I have a 2016 GMC sierra with stock suspension and 20" rim. My current tires are 275/55/20s. What is the biggest tires I can go with my current setup?

I even went into a offroad place for help but those jackasses tried to tell me a bunch of BS so I had to leave before I lost my cool.
He wanted to argue and tell me 275/60/20 size tires dont exist.

So I have been to that website but it gives the max size in a 22" rim not a 20".

I’ve got a leveled Sierra and put 275/65r20 M/T2s and they rub when I hook it about 90% turn. Think they’re 34.8 inches.

I wouldn’t go taller. Just my opinion. You’d then would have to get a leveling lift kit then

The 275/60s are a tad under 33". 32.9-32.95 depending on the brand. One inch taller than my current set. I an going to bust out the tape measure when I get home.

Thanks for the help fellas.

So another question. I was looking into the Bilstein 5100s as a possibility and am a little confused. Do you have to put a leveling kit then set them to the height of your level or you set them and they are what level your truck?

Also, I should be able to put the 5100s on the front and the 4600 on the backs I would think?

The 5100s level the truck. No need for a kit

Funny as I have that exact tire size on my sequoia.

They’re 33” by the way and fit perfectly without any rubbing.

Yea I am thinking they will fit without having to do anything. I have plenty of room in the wheel well, just concerned about it hitting the control arm.

Yeah the 4600s should be fine.

I’m waiting for the 5100s to be released for my truck so I can put them on.

If it was a truck I was looking to roll until the wheels fall off I wouldn't be hesitant to switch shocks. However I have learned my lesson and will never get another truck with a short bed. Thinking of trading it out once the new transmissions in the GMs and Fords have had some run time and been vetted.

Little thread hijack here. What's your opinion on that sequoia?

It’s a 2012 with 125k+ miles on it.

Only issue I’ve had is the lift gate motor is messed up but nothing else.

I bought it new and every now and then I wish I had a pick up but I really like it a lot.
Only thing I’d wish for is better gas mileage.

I have the same truck and what I did was put Michelin all terrain tires on it. I got the size 275/60r/20 and couldn’t be happier. I have a leveling kit and even with that I think the 65r/20s would have rubbed a little bit when the wheels are turned all the way. Those Michelin all terrains were incomparable to the Goodyear street tires too

You think the 275/60s would have fit without the leveling kit?
