Phone mount/clamp/tripod for taking pics in the field?

As mentioned in another thread recently, my kids are at an age now where they are frequently hunting with me.
I like to document our time together and I'm looking for a mount to hold my phone and take pictures and videos during and after hunts.
I've looked at tripods with clamps, and somebody recently sent me a link to this mount. Looks a little sketchy to me.
Anybody here using anything similar or better?

so essentially you and your kids would be acting for the camera the whole time.

I gave that same one. Works well but I don’t use the remote much because I’ve usually got my hands full and I prefer the timer on my phone instead.
