Yes, there is one on almost every tree.

quote:

Tree Stands and Blinds
Hunters are allowed to possess and hunt from one
portable stand or blind on each refuge within TR
Complex. Identifiable information must be displayed
on all portable stands, tripods and blinds. Stands do not
reserve hunting locations. Stands or blinds may be placed
48 hours prior to a hunt. Stands or blinds left unattended
for more than 48 hours will be considered abandoned
and will be subject to removal. All stands without proper
identification are subject to removal.
While climbing a tree, installing a stand that uses
climbing aids, or while hunting from a tree stand, hunters
must use a fall arrest system that is manufactured to Tree
Stand Manufacturers Association Standards.

What do you see that is conflicting?

This is part of the rules and regulations regarding Panther swamp. Just wanted to be sure since technically a climber digs into the tree

You're good. If you modify or add spikes to your climber to help it grip they will write you up, though. I think the climbing spikes they refer to are spurs.

The climbing spikes they are talking about are the spikes that linemen would use to climb telephone poles with.

no reason to worry about carrying your own. anywhere you are gonna want to hunt there will be 4-5 climbers already there just use one of those. Kidding of course but you will def see a pile of other folks stands scattered all over.

you aren't far off from the truth. If it looks good on onx there will be other stands. Last time I hunted there I thought I was pretty far back. Once the sun came up I noticed another stand 40 or 50 yards from me. Turned around and there were climber marks on my tree. 9 am a dude walked up and put a climber on a tree 50 yards from me. That evening I went by boat to a funnel I had seen on maps. There were 4 other stands on it already. It's been really pressured since social media got popular. The flooding has hit is hard as well.
