PaBon..

I have a hotel right next to my camp I can get rooms if we need them. I have yet to commit everything 100% as I have to lock up one trip which is starting to look like it may happen that weekend. Once I know when that is I am all in. If I am there I can tow your boat down river, but I will be camping at my camp not the campground. People can follow me down but those that will need to be prepared to go further south than where ya'll are camping. So a mud boat won't cut it there most likely unless it's already downriver.

I'll update this thread when I know for sure what is happening with this other trip of mine....

It's not like we are going to South Dakota. Gun, decoys, shells, beer, ice, prechilled yetis, licenses, GPS, can opener, knife, fishing rod, food. If my bird situation doesn't change greatly next weekend, I'll be doing most of my hunting down there.

Oh, pen, paper, 2 photo IDs, biologist, photographer and notary public to confirm your kill if you are participating in shootout.

I'm leaving the day after Xmas and my return date is unknown. Prolly when I run out of shells or beer.

Da Hammer- Sounds good. Thank you. I have a couple of spots on SE Pass I was planning on suggesting. It's a super haul, but you literally hunt behind where we would be camping. I'm sure you're familiar with the general area.

No, but I read about it on LASM. I got to go camping a lot in the military also.

We always called off South pass or Dennis when we hunted WMA. When didn't camp often on the delta. I'm probably going to hunt out of a pirouge. Just depends on how my 2nd split is going, not going to haul PDs back to make a weekend hunt. But I understand your apprehension on running the river in a mudboat.

Cereal? Salad? OJ? Wtf, how about a pull from a handle of titos and a satsuma slice?

You obviously weren't infantry.

I'm laughing remembering after my group had all been out of school for a while, one guy worked on an Enron team for his firm, steps out of tent with a robe and bubbly he charged to them that week. That's when we knew it was time to start renting rooms. I enjoy camping, but it can be a pita.
