I have 3 full days in big lake to beat it next weekend. My friends limited this morning before 11 am and have 4 over 25" on the boat......while I'm stuck at work.

Had some buddies get back from Big Lake yesterday. They limited out on trout 2 days in a row. Also caught some pretty good reds....

whats wrong w/ how he measured it?
Posted on 8/10/10 at 9:15 am to mylsuhat
He is bitching about the mouth being open, if those things are in the cooler, then it makes it hard to close.
Bass should be measured in weight only. Who the frick measures the length?

That fish has not been put on ice and I specifically asked to measure it properly with the mouth closed. If that fish had to be 24" for a tourneyment and the weighmaster weighed it, it would not measure at 24". Hell of a catch though... I just wish people would measure shite the correct way

Mine was in a cooler and you bitched. Even though it was only 19.5, it weighed in the middle 4 pound range.
Just let it go, I have never fished a bass tournament that had a not to exceed length. So I am not use to measuring bass.

Thats why you should have gone by weight and the picture should have been taken where the scale had to be seen. (BASS ONLY ON THE WEIGHT)
