the claim is that they are the strongest bumper made for off roading...I'm not a fan either though...

Still less than my current Ford.

I'm not downing the Ford, they are great trucks. I was just pointing out how misleading that video was. A Tacoma would have fared better than a first gen Tundra, the HP to weight ratio is better on a Taco than on a first gen Tundra.

I'm anxious to see the new hybrid engine Ford and Toyota are are cooperating on.

I like the pipe. I would need it tuned down for my DD though.

You completely loose the ride when you put that much weight that far out. It goes to shite big time.

Again, not worried about it on a 3/4 ton with at least a 6" lift and 37"s. I have 305/55/20s on my 1/2. My ride is still basically factory.

I am holding out for one of the Buckstop bumpers. Already have a Ranch hand rear and some gay arse brush guard on the front.

Definitely could've used it a year ago

You can put something light like a ranch hand and not screw up your ride too much if you wanted to.

I love aftermarket bumpers. It's so nice to just prop your truck up on a tree to winch stuff.

I like them except for the angled top plate. I think it makes absolutely zero sense.

Bumper = pivot point

I had some on my Tacoma that I regularly slammed into trees pretty hard and nothing happened to them.

Yep. Also can be used for a seat, step, deer hauler, anvil, work bench, light rack, weed smasher, car smasher, fence smasher, animal smasher, etc

RA has a bunch of useless angles for stuff. I am a fan of function over form

Same here. Same reason I don't like that pipe cage posted earlier. What looks good to me is a well designed piece that performs its intended function well. Hence, my Reunel love.

Rock crawling people are typically the ones with pipe bumpers. shite just slides better off of them.

Not like that thing from hell posted earlier though. That's just nasty.

For some reason people these days want bumpers to big as big and obnoxious as possible.

I want mine to be compact (within reason) and strong enough to kill cows with.
