I figure the real growth is to be had in getting people to watch the live events, and that’s gonna have to be on weekends. Yes I believe your right. From what I saw during the broadcast yesterday it was 8 events over 6 days. Don’t recall if that was in a row or not.

Can someone please explain the format? I am so confused about the "rules" of the Tournament and declaring champions, the different types of events, etc.

Can’t watch tofu but monitoring it through here and the score tracker. Had some big fish caught this morning.

I still don't mind it, but its not the outdoor channel broadcast that I grew to love last year. I just keep it up on one of my monitors and glance over when I can.

Yea I saw that but that still doesn't give us the details of the format.
I think they have butchered this to be honest. As a bass fisherman and someone who used to fish bass Tx's from time to time I understand why the anglers wanted more say so in events but what was wrong with the B.A.S.S. tx format?
I like the idea of having a marshal in the boat weighing and releasing fish right away but not sure I like the idea of all fish count. Is this the way all the Selects will be or just certain ones?
I like the MLF format of the cup in the off season like in previous years and glad that is staying.
I have no idea how an "Angler of the year/champion" is determined if there is one.
I have no idea if the Select anglers will fish the cups and vise versa
I have no idea if cups and selects will count toward crowning a Champion
I have no idea what groups 1 and 2 mean
I have no idea how many days of fishing is the select tx's
I have no idea what the 6 days of fishing will consist of.
I have no idea if "The biggest fish" is rewarded in a side prize
I just think they didn't do a good job of explaining the new format and still have nothing a fan can go read to explain.

coverage today has been junk. was trying to watch a minute this morning... kept freezing up, left and came back about noon.... still freezing up.
