Those of you that missed the 194 gr max expansion deal. Grind hard ammo has their loaded 194 gr for 39.99. Same bullet just different company. They get good reviews. I’m going to pick up 2 boxes. If that goes well I’ll be in for much more.

Have you ever seen the bullets themselves on sale? I see Lehigh's website has them about .85 cents per round right now. A high price, but can reload for ~$1.00 a round right now.

They are on sale right now at Lehigh. Cheapest I have seen them since 2019.

Why are they clearance all sales final on the Lehigh site? Are they discontinuing them or is that normal? I don't reload yet but want to eventually so maybe id stock up on them. These can be loaded in a 300blk and 308 case...I guess at subsonic speeds it doesn't really matter?

Wilson combat bought Lehigh back in 2021. Wilson clearance sales are usually final. You can use these in a 308. They are recommended for subsonic only loads.

My order arrived today and shipped from Wilson. They have the same sale on Wilson’s site

There would be no real advantage to load this into a 308 if I have a 300blk to run them through right. 1050fps is 1050 fps unless I'm missing something

Aero has barrels on sale.
I picked up a stainless .223 wylde for just over $100

They a have .308 and 6.5cm as well for a little less than $200

Lancer makes a better translucent mag for about the same price. You get a metal feed lip as opposed to polymer with magpil.

I have been using the lancers for years with 0 issues.

Anyone mess with tripods for their AR platform guns up in here? I went to a buddies house with my 6.5 Grendel and thermal to help him smoke some coyotes and minks that have been killing his live stock. We are sitting around BSing and shooting from a elevated back porch so think a tripod would be kinda fun. What are some good brands to look at? Are there features on some that make a big difference or are they all pretty much the same?

I don't really even know what they run, I never thought about getting one until I was chilling on the porch

Can a decent one be had for 1-200? I don't mind paying for quality benefits but I don't care about name brands and what not. Good bang for the buck.

Just looked up that one you have...650? So what makes that better than a 200 one. Lighter, more sturdy?

Yeah 650 just for the legs.

Lighter, way way more sturdy, legs don’t cross, legs stay extended out, etc.

A lot of people are happy with Bogpods
