Sights?
Mbus gen2 or mbus pro?

Flashlight suggestions? Pressure switch or not?

Vertical or angled foregrip?

MBUS pro

For light if you want cheaper, get an Inforce WML on a Haley thorntail mount. If you want to spend more, Surefire M600 and dual pressure switch.

I use a BCM short vert grip, but would like to try out a Magpul hand stop.

I use the regular MBUS and have never had problems. My only experience with the newer MBUS is when Bapple put his upper on one of my full auto lowers and the front site post walked out and was unrecoverable.

Ended up handling the Larue, DD V11 slw, and DD V7 LW. Went with the V7.

Where'd you pick it up?

I was there for a little while today, must've just missed you. But given everything that's been going on and deliveries not running we've been closed since Sat. We'll be back tomorrow. We don't really have an furniture though.

For sights I typically use the dd fixed front/rear. I I have a magnified optic I use the mbus pro because I prefer not to have a spring that could fail.

If you are looking for a decent light I would check out the new streamlight tlr rail mount lights.

As far as pressure switches are concerned to each his own. I use clickable tail caps on my lights. Except for the one tlr1 that I have mounted at the 12.

I prefer short vertical grips for my shooting style. I find the offer the most support for various shooting positions over hand stops or angled VFGs

Palmetto State Armory has a package 1,000 rounds of American eagle and a 60 round pmag drum for $380. That drum is about 120$ alone....

Add in the shipping cost and that makes it $0.28 a round when you drop $120 for the mag cost.

$0.28 per round, is that a good deal? I haven't priced .223 in bulk

What spring are you referring to? The mbus2 has a spring to raise the sight but it locks in place due to the design. If the spring wasn't there you could still raise the sight and lock it in place

This is correct. There is a detent that holds it in the upright position. I still prefer not to have a spring actuated sight.

Also the thickness of the sight itself is not as slim causing me to have to use a talker mount if using a magnified optic

I saw that BCM had a mod 4 ambi charging handle. Is that the one I should go with or go with the regular mod 4?

BMC BCG
Can you fire 5.56 out of the Wylde chamber? If not, then a 5.56/.223 barrel and you're good, post pics when you're done
