I used to catch my own lobster when I lived in south fl.

Nothing better than that. Snorkeling or scuba?

Getting ready to cook up some liver and onions. Gonna try salmon liver from some fish the kids snagged today (another story for tomorrow).

Every thrown a shrimp in a lobster tank at the grocery store? Best to bet on the winner before hand because it will get nasty...

At night. 2 guys in the water. 1 in the boat.

My first time was kind of scary when I thought of sharks and my light.

Fl lobster is sweeter than Maine. No claws though.

Would go to the bar at 4am when we were done.

Just don't suck the head.

That was about to occur at a high-scale establishment in Massachusetts about 25 years ago. The chef heard this was about to occur and ran out to our table in a panic..."don't do it!!! There's a poisonous gland in there...they're not crayfish!!!"

I don't know if he was correct, but my drunken crew refrained.

I required it was worth the risk and a number of people on the food board purchased from him once I got mine. I am sure that guy was wondering why all the South Louisiana orders were coming in...
