I had a solid beard going the last 6 weeks. It finally got to be too messy looking even when shaving my neck, so I trimmed it with a guard on the clippers. Somehow I shaved a patch on my cheek and had to shave the whole thing.

I hate it when that happens. i have fricked up some legitimately kick-arse beards trying to line them up correctly.

This is the reason I shaved mine last year. Went from Jeremiah Johnson to squeaky clean shaved. My sister-n-law didnt recognize the pic my wife texted her of my post shave.

Our annual fear the beard contest started the first of October. We had some few complications with the ruling last year cause a few guys can't grow them for work, so this year you can pick one, hair or beard.
I went with hair and I can keep a 3 on the beard, but I have a full beard all year, so it's not bad.
Now, the good part of the bet this year. Me and another guy have a side bet going that I will not cut my hair all season and the last weekend put a perm in it ala Kenny Powers. FTR I was already two months in with my hair before OCT. 1.its pretty fracking long already. If I win 34V gets a Benelli Legacy 20 gauge, if I loose I have to buy the other guy 2 cases of 3.5 blackcloud and the new blackcloud choke. I will post pics of the Kenny Powers perm when I get, because I WILL WIN THIS BET!
