Tue and Wed are the days I can fish.
Delacroix
Tue - West wind 5-10. 1.26 foot tide range. Falling tide all morning
Wed- North Wind 5-10. .9 foot tide range. Falling tide all morning.

Which day do you fish? I almost always fish an east or south wind.
Thanks

An old timer from Delacroix that I knew - and I mean a genuine multigenerational Delacroix old timer - had a saying: "West wind blow, don't go."

I've heard a version of that line from Blackie, "Winds out the west, stay home and rest. Winds out of the east, tonight we'll have a feast."

I'd go Tuesday. A little more tidal range, and it won't have been blowing out of the west as long at that point.

Don't let em tell you not to go. When the water starts falling out in Delacroix the fish stack up. Water pours out and they take advantage of all of the bait getting sucked out of the cuts

Strong West and NW winds drain Dcroix. Based on the prediction I've seen that is not what we will get. It looks to be a short duration of west and really not that strong.
Either day should be fine. I'm more worried about the weather that's pushing through and how hard it will hit us, possiblly stir things up for a day or two after it's out of here.
