This was June 17. I think he’s gonna be a pretty damn good buck by September

Just a trail. He was actually peeing and licking the branches above, which i knew they did all year long. Just never witnessed it.

Clear creek

That would have been my guess. Sandy Hollow, from my limited experience with the place, never seemed that thick since they burn it.

ETA: you're a brave man having a trail camera on Clear Creek with all those rednecks out there. Surprised it hasn't been stolen yet.

Ain't nobody walking that far. I've got 3-4 spots i hunt and I've never seen another hunter. But I'm not there during gun season either.

Pretty good. I saw 4 hens and about 8 poults Sunday. Did not kill a gobbler this year though, but i'm not a good turkey hunter either.

Deer hunters must be lazy as shite at CC...lol! I've only ever turkey hunted there, but figured on trying to bow hunt it this year. Sounds like it's worth it, because that place isn't much worse than Kisatchie in terms of walking in my opinion. It's not like there are many places in there that are way off the roads.

You must mean September of 2021. He definitely qualifies for needing another year.

He probably thinks the only shooters look like the ones on shows like Bone Collector.

Well if you’re ever by the primitive campground, look for a white pop up with blue trim. I’ll fix you a cup of coffee

If you're talking about the campground on the north end, I camped there every turkey season for 4 or 5 years when I hunted it regularly. Haven't been there in 2 or 3 years now for one reason or another.
