I'm about in the market for another truck. Currently running an F-150 and not going to change. My question is... Has anyone bought the 2014 lariat? What final price should I be looking for?

I hate to be a dick, but thats a pretty vague question.

Or are you just looking for about how far from MSRP?

Yes. I'm seeing stickers in the 52K range and wondering what dealers are coming off of the sticker.

I bought 13 Lariat, sticker of 44k got it for 34k.

More expensive the truck, the less they are going to come off. Doesn't make much sense, but thats what happened in my case.

I started looking at trucks a few months ago. I just want a regular extended cab with 4wd and the prices are outrageous.

Why I am never buy a new truck. There's always incentives and rebates, I think a lot are coming down by several thousand, still way too much for a truck. Your best option may be to travel a good ways off as well, check autotrader.com and places like that.

@52k, if you are able to get every discount offered, you are looking in the 10k range off sticker + or - a few thousand

I think my 2011 F-150 was listed at $51,000-$52,000 and they went down to $40,000 for me. They were about to roll out the 2012 models so that may have been a factor in it.

A friend of mine is a salesman at GMC, and the prices he is posting on facebook, they are giving those trucks away. I'm not sure how loaded the vehicles are, but have seen some listed less than 30k.

Not sure what options you need, but this is IMO a good price on a 2014 Lariat.

I guess I'm in sticker shock right now. Current truck is 2010 lariat and I gave 35K for it new. To see the prices jump this much with very little change to what I'm driving now blows me away.

I'm terrified to see where they'll price the 15. Might have to sell a kidney.

There are new several features compared to your truck. Much better powertrain for starters. Better nav and entertainment packages, a bunch of little things that add up. Factor in inflation, and paying $40k 4 years later for the "same" $35k truck isn't all that crazy. But yea, truck prices are through the roof. $10k off should be the minimum deal you look for.

I just purchased an F150 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It wasn't a Lariat, it was an XLT, but the sticker was 39 and i purchased for 30.5.

Not sure if that helps any. Love the truck though.

I agree 100%. WTF is wrong with people paying that much for a truck? Hell, I mean that if one uses a truck for what it is, that first deep scratch has to hurt.
