New gun from bergara aimed at youth or maybe just compact
Saw this pop up and definitely wouldn’t mind checking it out to see if it wouldn’t fit the bill as a nice subcompact woods gun.

That would make a pretty nice rig in 7mm-08, it’s a revelation taking a “kid” gun to a shoothouse and being able to maneuver around without banging into shite. I’m sure they’ll sell a pile of them in 300BLK too for the suppressor crowd.

Still wish someone would do something like this with a lighter contour.

Nice. I like a good short barrel rifle for the woods. If you walk the woods and hunt the ground, a nice short rifle is great. You can pass the rifle down to a kid as well. 243 would be nice.

They’re great in pretty much any hunting situation, rifle makers are just starting to get the memo that losing a little velocity isn’t a deal breaker.

I wish Ruger would make a no.1 with a 20” threaded barrel. It wouldn’t need to be as pretty as usual, since I’d be putting a suppressor on it.

My no.1 with a 22” barrel is fantastic for pretty much any hunting situation… super short.

Looks like their version of Christensen's Scout, but half the cost. I have a Bergara premier and I love it. I'd like to check this rifle out in person for a woods rifle.

When one of my hunting buddies retired he bought himself a No 1 in 270 Win. He bobbed to barrel to 22" as it didn't balance well for him w/ the longer barrel.
