I heard they were trying to make an example out of people before the BLMers make their way down there for the rodeo.

my opinion the entire island should be 25.. its only 7 miles long. With all the golf carts and beach goers crossing the roads no need to go that fast.

you can tell though when people are ready to leave the island coming from the backside. Once they get out of the 25mph zone to the 45mph its like a drag race.
