New Battery Help for ATV

Bought a Duralast Powersport Battery for my 4-wheeler tonight. The gal at Auto Zone filled it up and said not to charge it or use it for 3 hours. Question is, do I have to charge it before I use it?

I would put the battery on trickle charge over night.

Put on trickle charge at 930. Started at 80%. Still at 80% at 10. That normal?

It depends on the amps your chargers outputs. Most trickel chargers only putout 1 amp and will need to charge overnight.

Charge for 3 hours then let sit for 1 hour and then do again.
Thats if you have a 1 amp charger. never use more than 3 amp charger unless you want to shorten its life. if you use 3 amp charger only charge for 30 minutes let'ss it 1 hour charge for 30 minutes again
