A lot of you guys mention the SHO versions of the big Yamahas. They are really nice, and if money was no object, I would have one. My friend has a 24ft Nautic Star with a 250SHO; it is very thirsty my friends.

Not my experience with the sho (24’ blue wave) IF you stay out of the 5,000-6,000 range.

Coming back to mention that my camp neighbor that runs an outboard repair shop, and is pushing me hard towards the Yamaha (and knows his stuff), says absolutely not on the SHO version.
