I love charcoal, but like the ease of gas. I was in Costco the other day and came across this. Anyone have one?

I may get hammered by the ot ballers, but my chargriller duo (gas, gas burner, and charcoal) has been good to me. Just season and treat it as instructed. I've for 5 years on mine and just added a smoker. Great shape, and it's nice to use gas or charcoal. About 300 bones at lowes

There are a bunch of YouTube videos on this Akron and it seems good. I want to try one also. kamadoguru.com is a good resource for this particular grill. Read the message boards and they have lots of info and they seem to hold temp good.

Wish I could but can't commit over 1000 to a bge without my wife making me sleep in it outside.

at least you will be warm and well fed.

i actually got the go ahead to buy a bge or something similar. i havent cooked on charcoal in about 8 years and feel like this grill could be a good one to train on and then maybe make the bge purchase down the road. i just feel like all the reviews are positive because everyone wants this grill to be awesome since its soo much cheaper than a bge ( sort of like how i pimp the shite out of my hp touchpad)
