Never sold anything. Well I did build a swing bed that I sold after we had it for many years.
The design is the easy part for me though, honestly.

Something like this with thicker pillars and a higher headboard

Hardest part on that would be turning the legs. The headboard is a glued up panel that’s attached by mortise and tenon joints.

I gotcha on it.
What designs have you done before?

Bunch of stuff. Tables, console table, swing bed, redid some cabinets in the kitchen and the ventahood, built a huge cabinet in the kids play room.
ETA: basically my wife shows me stuff in magazines and stuff and ask if I can do that.

Anything like a queen size bed?

Just the king size in the pic
On that pic you posted, you would need to turn the legs in a few sections to get the height you want. That one really wouldn't be too hard.
I think New Yankee workshop actually built one very similar, FYI

I've built this one in king as well as queen.

Finished it last night just in time for the weekend. Now I just have to save up for a sack of crawfish.
Got most of the parts/material from scrap and old demo equipment we were throwing away at work. I felt like Johnny Cash when he built that Cadillac one piece at a time, waiting for all the parts I needed to finish it.

Nice blue heeler. My daughter has one and he is a gorgeous dog. He's an a-hole though.

Me, been floating out sheetrock. Nothing worse then doing that. Hope to rap it up this weekend. Dang weather with all this rain has been a bad time to do this. Even with a couple fans, it taking a long to for the mud to dry.

Ever built anything motorized to ford through high water?
Posted on 2/23/19 at 7:59 am to biggsc
Had a motorized pirogue at one time. Also built a couple Laffite Skiffs. One was 27' and another was 32'. That count?
