Well done sir, well done. Really love the horizontal gun cabinet.

I wonder if you are who I emailed last night. Do you have an ad on Craigslist? Location was near new roads for the fella I messaged.
Not me.
Just have the metal roofing to put on now.

Thanks. One thing I like to do is refurbish, repurpose, or reuse wood.

On the horizontal gun cabinet...
Take a bow good sir. That's an awesome idea.

Really like that gun cabinet.

Here's an update on my poor mans outdoor kitchen. Still slow going.
Put some stain on. If you look closely, you can see where it let some drip on the cement. Underestimated the amount I needed. Ran out.

Still haven't built the doors. Work getting in the way of my projects. Had a whole list of shite I wanted to tackle this year at home and the hunting camp.

I have plans to build something similar to that.
Actually I have plans to build a lot of stuff just to need to get off my arse and do it.

That gun cabinet is awesome. The seats on the old stools look really cool as well. Did you router the edges to give them that clean curved surface?
I can't wait until I get out of school so I have the extra time and spending money to buy tools and make some stuff. I've already told the SO she isn't allowed to buy anything that I can just make for 1/4th price.

Take my advice, do it right the first time. Spend a little more and get what you want. I have a POS bandsaw and a tablesaw I'm about to throw up on Craigslist and put that money into a new bandsaw. I'd like a 14" Grizzly or a Rikon.
What I really need to do is build some picnic tables and stuff that can be made quickly and for cheaply instead of furniture type stuff that takes longer with having to paint and stain them.

I'm not a real cabinet builder. I simply built a frame from 2x4's, topped it with a countertop from Home Depot, and used 1x8's for the sides. It looks better on camera than irl, but I'm proud of my work other than the stain drippings on the concrete. I'm an idiot. Hopefully my doors will work out ok.

Negative - I sanded them with a palm sander until I had them like I wanted. I also made a cabinet using the same pallet wood. I'll post pics tomorrow when I get a chance.
Thanks everyone for the compliments!

I have a Grizzly 14" with rizer. If I had to do it over I'd get a bigger one.
I use mine all the time.

Just finished a table and bench for a fella on Facebook. Now if it would stop raining long enough to take it to him, I'd be good.

Nice job.
How did you attach your breadboard end pieces on your table?

Biscuits glue, and kreg screws. Got two 8ft pipe clamps that come in handy.

Got the front porch roof done. Been doing a little dirt work around the building now that it is dry.
