How do you have yours setup for dust collection.
I also have the DW735 and it is hands down the best tool I own. For dust collection I use an old pillow case and a bungee cord, works great. I hit Pawn shops for 3 months looking for one and picked mine up for $300

That houseboat is sweet.

Well it's not much but I turned this...
Into this...
So I could do this...
Now I can park my truck in the garage. All it took was a drill, a circular saw and some beers one afternoon
Edit: The shelves were there when we bought the house. I didn't build those.

That's not building... That's tearing down
Don't put much weight on those unsupported shelves, or your truck bed will be your new shelf.

I told you I added that angled corner brace so I could cantilever the shelves. Trust me, I did a few pull ups on it. So its rated for at least 300lbs

As an engineer, I could not allow myself to stamp and approve that design.

You're an EE....
You don't know the first thing about stuctures....
And you don't have a stamp

I'll just steal one of my brothers

Also, I did build this as a gag gift for my uncle at Christmas. He owns a industrial fab shop and loves that cheap wine
It was my first attempt at welding, but I think it came out Ok.

When I was 5 and my brother was 7, we made a wooden airplane to operate on our neighbors zip line. Painted it and had it ready to go, and we went on vacation to Michigan for a month While we were gone, the neighbor boy and his friends decided to try it out and found the wingspan was about 6" too wide to fit between some trees and he dropped about 12', ruining our plane.
Probably looked like crap, but in my 5 year old minds eye it was kick arse.

your neighbor boy and his friends should have gotten an asswhoopin for that.

Yea that SOB (CP3) built a few those things. Looked like a welding machine exploded in the garage after that

Posted on 3/23/16 at 11:52 am to SportTiger1
Did a bottle of Jack, too. Was a little sloppier on the welds though

I've been wanting to get into welding here recently, just to have an extra tool at my disposal. What kind are you using, mig?
Posted on 3/23/16 at 12:37 pm to SportTiger1
I was using my buddy's Mig welder. It is a Lincoln Weld Pak 3200HD welder he picked up at a pawn shop for like $300. Not sure what they run new, but it worked great and I will probably be buying one of my own soon.
