He is supposed to start back to school at the end of next week, we are looking to make a road trip at the end of this week and looking to hit 3-4 courses in Alabama and Georgia. Does anyone have any suggestions for quality clays courses in these states?

Providence Hill Farms near Flora MS is top shelf if you want to hit that on your way to or from AL and GA

I recently visited a friend in Roswell GA and we drove up to Etowah Valley Sporting Clays in Dawsonville. It was a cool place, hop on a golf cart and drive around to all of the different stations. I thought it was pretty nice but it was my first time at one of these places so nothing to compare it to.

Pursell Farms, Syclacuaga AL. It’s really nice, orvis setup.
Sellwood Farms. Also in the vicinity but never been out there
Both within 45-60 minutes from Birmingham
Pursell also has lodging, cottages, food, golf

Sellwood is nice and worth a visit but Pursell Farms is on a different level.

Have not been but I have heard good things about the Meadows Gun Club in Forsythe, GA.
Santa Rosa Shooting Center near Pensacola is a good stop depending on your route. It is a well taken care of course to keep in your back pocket for beach trips. I believe they added a second course since I went.
Providence Hill is a must go place if you are into sporting clays. It is private but open for registered shoots several times a year. If there is a finer place to shoot clays in the country I'd like to see it.

In those states no, but if your interested in some other things you could do Graystone Castle in TX.
Could book a blast and cast so you could shoot clays and do some fishing for trophy bass.
It is also an exotic ranch so the guides will take you out on a ride in the evening to see all the wild life.

We shot there last year and had a great time, it looks like Bama and Georgia have a number of good courses that we can hit multiple locations over a couple of days

Carry on then my man
I went there with a group from work. I remember the fried quail they served us at the pool being awesome.
Between 6 of us we only caught one fish but it was a 6lber.
An the shower in my room had so much pressure i think it blew off a few layers of skin and created such a fog that I couldn't breathe.
It was a damn good time though.

MDWFP has a nice course at Turcotte Labs in Madison Co. It is open to the public for a small fee. They also have a rifle range.

So currently we are planning to leave in the morning, stay at Pursell Farms tomorrow night and shoot there Wednesday morning, move over to Sellwood Farms and shoot there the same afternoon. Drive over to Garland Mountain and shoot there Thursday morning, move to Etowah Valley to shoot that afternoon. We are going to take the long way home through Thomasville and visit Kevin's and perhaps shoot Ravenwood if our shoulder can handle it.

Ha, he probably woundn't say that. We are loaded down with ammo and 6 shotguns ready to hit the road. 5 sxs's and an over-under; one 12 gauge, one 16 and 4 20's. It should be a good time.

forgot to mention in the other thread. on Thursday, if you are driving on GA-400 to EV, exit 9 alpharetta, around 10-11am or before, stop at total wine. They get their allocated deliveries tues, wed, thurs. Blantons, some wellers, ,I think Elmer and a few others all come on Thursday. If you get there before 10, even better
This is the good shop in Marietta, off 75 north of Atl, a bit south of Garland
