I've been gone on vacation for a week. The night before I left he layed on me all night. The next day I brought him to my neighbors for the week. He cried when I left, and my neighbor said anytime she would let him out, he'd see my truck and cry. He stared out her window, and every car that passed he would cry. I got home tonight, and he was whining and jumped in my arms. Anytime he can't see me he whines I love my dog.

Yup. Trying to train Sophie not to be scared of guns so she can come on a duck hunt. She's an amazing retriever.

I've heard they are great retrievers. How old is she? I read a great article on how to introduce dogs to guns.

He's a boxer. I've never left him before, and didn't know he was that attached. I gotta say it's a pretty cool feeling. My wife and I don't have any kids yet, so he is the closest I have

Carson,
Get something like this. 2 months, see if there is improvement. Glucossamine

If you are giving it to Claude already, enjoy the time you have.

I hear ya! i have a couple labs, and they both are that way. My female especially is attahed to me. If i dont feed her a couple days because im working "and my wife does" my wife says she wont have anything to do with her and just stares at the door holding her stuff duck. I can walk by the window at night and she sees me and grabs the duck staring at the door.. Its so pitiful looking i have went out MANY nights 11,12oclok, whenever because she just looks so sad and wants to play. My male is laid back and a baby.. My wifes baby! Our only kids also

My gf and I have a dachschund. She's attached like a tick in the summer time. Whines when we leave her with someone and whines even more when we get home. Even if we've only been gone an hour. She jumps up to my waist for me to catch her every day when I get home. It's something to always look forward to.

My beagles are the same way man, spoiled rotten. If I even act like I'm about to get dressed, she'll bite and pull my pants leg to keep me from leaving. I love it
