Just an FYI, I don't think Costa's make thier own RX lenses. You just have lenses made by the place you bought them which is approved by CDM.

I have been debating getting a pair of CDM Rx glasses. Even printed off the list of places that sell them. I might just have to do it!

I'm an eye doc. Costa finally started making RX lenses that are the same you would get in their frame one month ago. They are nice, slow turn around compared to other products, but I like mine and have several patients that are very happy.

good info, hammer. now how about an OB mass buy?!

Yeap that is what I was told as well, thats why it took 2.5 weeks...when they pulled the glasses out of the UPS box they were complete...the eye place didn't have to do anything to them expect have me try them on to make sure everything was correct.
As I stated...the RX lens in these Costa's are a better quality then what I have in my regular glasses.

TT34
If your Dad currently has a script that is less than 12 months old you will just need a copy of that or the place can also do that if he need a new eye exam.
I went to Wishnow Sugar Vision grp, they are off of Westheimer Parkway and Mason Rd in the Kroger Shopping Center.
The only thing I would recommend is have your dad check out some frame styles and call them up and see what they have in house or swing by Bass Pro Shop and see there frame selection about the largest selection of frames I have seen in the area. Wishnow Sugar Vision can order you any style frame and lens combo but the office doesn't carry every frame CDM sells.
CDM Dealer in Katy
Edit: TT34 about half way thru your post the first time, I thought you where going to ask me to meet up with him and let him try out my glasses..

One out of one OB eye doctors approve of the CDM rx sun glasses, what else do you need to know.

Hammer, I am a Psychologist, I might be willing to barter some marriage and family therapy for a pair of shades.
(***To any licensing boards/professional associations, this should be considered a joke and not an actual solicitation to barter any psychological services

I really want a pair of Costa's RX and I will get some soon. A month ago I got the WileyX Rx done and I love em! Which Costa frames are for the big head dudes like me?
Posted on 6/13/11 at 9:02 pm to SenseiBuddy
Maybe the eye doc will chime in on what frames work best for larger heads, I am new to the Costa line so I couldnt tell you.

Only if he can hook me up with some cool shades
I too would like to know what Costa frames fit someone with a large head (A 7 & 5/8 hat is snug for me). What say you doc?
