My best hunt ever!!!

Took my 9 yr old daughter out Wednesday evening after she told me "I'm ready to shoot one by myself dad" (she has always just wanted to sit with me before and watch me shoot).
Didn't see any and had just stood up in the box blind to leave and a deer walked out. Had to scramble back in position and get her set up. She took the .243, found the deer, and put one in the shoulder like a pro! The look on her face was priceless when she realized she got it! I don't think I've ever been so excited either. Best button buck kill ever!!

I didn't care at all if it was a button buck and she didn't either. She actually was more excited that she killed a "buck" as her first deer!!

Congrats!!! My lil man got his first last season and it was a feeling like none other.
We hunt with my brother and beat friend, and I think they were more excited than I was.
