You should start a youtube channel called Boat Rescue.

All work performed by me.
What is your background? How'd you know how to do all of that?
I am about to move to Houston and would love a project like that but my knowledge on boat restoration is minimal to non-existent. However, I am fairly handy in general for a career office guy at least.

You need to find an older Boston Whaler Montauk and do a restoration on it. There are a lot on You Tube that you could review. Great work by a skilled craftsman.

Please tell me you kept that good looking LSU flag!!
And yes, the restoration project looks top notch.

I could flip through before and after pictures of projects like that forever and never get tired of it.

I know. Was just kidding. He is actually from Florida. Have you seen his youtube videos? Pretty awesome stuff. He is in the Tampa area.

I have n older model world cat redone. It came out showroom new…with adjustments that made it a better boat..ie…bigger insulated built in ice chests. I paid a handsome price, but it was worth it compared to a new boat.

Where is the invite to go fishing to everyone of us?

I figured you were joking. I'm looking at a couple of other boats now. When I get my next project, I'll definitely video the progression and share.

Very cool
I've been wanting to do something similar but don't have the time. Good for you and they turned out great. How long typically does a restoration take?

Typically 2-3 months, depending on weather and replacement parts.
