I'm making it. Spent about 12 days in hospital. Feeling fine, just tying to get my strength back up. It's amazing how much you lose being laid up in that place. Got a follow up appt with doc tomorrow. Hopefully get my nose feeding tube out tomorrow. Start chemo and radiation on June 3rd.

I've had nothing down my throat since April 21, the night before my surgery.

Smackover ain't that big of a place.

And people around here don't take well to door to door salespeople, so they use names of well known/respected people to make them seem more legit. Maybe they heard my house is locked down like fort knox and figure if I'd use them they must be good.

Wow.

Saying a prayer for you right now.

On a lighter note...

Everything in Arky is shittier. At least you can wet a line in saltwater in Braithwaite.

Debatable, but I'm too drunk to debate tonight.

Flooded timber in Josey's parts is about as good as it gets.

CBLSU's barbecue is also as good as I gets so I hear.

Y'all got the mallards. That's it.

As for BBQ...I'm not touching that argument.

The mallards are where it's at. Problem is that they haven't been what they used to be.

When I get to hunt, which has only been a few times in the past few years, it's wood ducks in Avoyelles Parish.

I take what I can get.

I've honestly never really shot many mallards. I guess just a function of the places I've hunted.
