I'm going to millers lake in ville plate next week. Hoping to catch sac a lait!
Any advice from someone familiar with the lake is appreciated.
Bait? Where to fish in lake?

Man, you should probably contribute more.

I can’t help you with sac a lait. I’ve only ever fished bass over there.

Fish early. Don't stay in one spot if they aren't biting. MOVE!
Hope the lilies haven't taken over.
Have fun backing down that jacked up launch.

There are no fish by the duck blinds. Hit that stand of trees in the middle.

Try throwing a black beetle spin around and then when you catch one, anchor and fish that area slow. We used to do that when I was a kid out there and caught a good bit.

I’ve only bass fished it when I’ve been the last few years.

might want to target the bream(probably will catch white perch occasionally doing so). I would go early like someone mentioned, I would target overcast day. Spawn is over so you'll be looking for scattered white perch(handful here and there). Beatle spin or roadrunner is wise. Also i would throw crickets with a chartreuce niblet to tip it. Lilly's aren't NEARLY what they used to be, not many at all due to carp being put in 5 years ago. I would try to make long cast(super clear lake and fish are spooky). I would fish NE of lunch(#8 trees if you know the blinds)

I think he means the white perch have already spawned. They do their thing earlier than bluegill and chinquapin do.

If the forecasted winds are over 5 mph, Think long and hard about going. There is nothing to block the wind out there. It's a lake in the middle of miles of fields.

Hair jig under cork next to trees. Be persistent. Do not leave any tree or group of them until you have thoroughly jigged the area.
