Mexico bird hunting

Thinking about a trip next fall to Mexico for dove and quail hunting but I am concerned about safety. I think the hunting is done on private ranches which I would think would be pretty safe. My son is wanting to go to Argentina for his graduation present but I went there this fall and honestly I was a little disappointed its just pretty much the same thing every day. If anyone has experience hunting in Mexico please advise. If you know any reputable outfitters please let me know thanks.

My dad and a group of his buddies used to go every year. About 10 years ago the guy that ran the hunting sent them an email saying the local cartel beheaded the local town leaders and put their heads on pikes at the edge of town. They go out to Uvalde now.

Yes, if bird hunting in Mexico is slang for killing doves, I’m staying stateside.

Have you thought about doing a south Texas hunt? Look up the G2 ranch in Pearsall.

If you were not happy in Argentina I don't think Mexico will knock your socks off.
