Quick hijack but does anyone have tkr1407 email, he gave it to me awhile back and now I have lost it somehow, we are trying to plan out our trip up north for late next week and I was going to give him a shout and have some questions for him.

I heard this place had been awful. Way too many people. Talked to a guy the other day that guy the latest bird count from the feds and the largest mallard count in NLA/SArk is around Jones/Mer Rouge at 30,000 which is nothing. Refuges aren't holding any birds. Know a guy that hunts around Columbia and he said they have a 500 acre sheet of water on their place that they use as a refuge. Never hunt it and it only has 200 ducks on it. Pecan Island has been slow. Have heard that the marshes west of PI have been pretty good. I would've thought that with the Midwest drought and the up in bird count that we would be doing really well, but it has been bad.
