I have a Marlin XS7 chambered in .308. I have been looking at putting a better (wood) stock on it. In researching stock i came across boydsgunstocks.com.

My question is "does anyone have experience with Boyd's or restocking the Marlin XS7"? Just wondering how difficult a job it is going to be.

You can buy from Boyd's with confidence. It's a quality product. I'd give them a call to place the order to ensure everything is correct.

Put a Boyd's stock on my Ruger American, nothing to it really. Little bit of sanding for clearancing a few spots for the Acra-glass.

Thinking of doing the same. Which did you go with? Any pics?
