I’ve had cats go limp from scruffing them. But I’ve never had them stay motionless for long. It doesn’t paralyze them. Once they get tired of it enough to panic or get kissed off, those back legs start flailing.

Grabbing them by the scruff of the neck does deactivate them. Goes for any type of cat
