While it sounds interesting no way I could sit in a boat all day watching someone else fish without fishing myself!

I may have been drinking just a little to make that comment but it is 100% true.

True story. If his boat had wings it would take off. Hell, I would be careful putting someone in there with big ears.

Now that would be a good video watching them slap around.

I got it running 84 with 2 people tourney loaded but hole shot sucks with that prop. I put the Bravo back on, it runs 81 with the same load on the limiter but is a rocket out the hole.

I am going to start experimenting with my setup. Gonna raise the plate a bit then look at props. I don’t think I am getting what I should based on other people’s numbers.

Need some help holler. You can come to my camp for a day or two and we can set it up or just meet up somewhere. Let me know what pitch props you are running and I may can find some loaners.

Right now I have the factory 25-m. I have heard a lot of people using the 25 tempest. I don’t pretend to know much about all of that stuff.

Tempest is a good prop, plenty of stern lift for a 3 blade. More factors than just a prop though.

I just finished Ike’s 5 hour podcast where he interviews officials from BASS, FLW, and Boyd Duckett. Some questions were answered but after hearing from all of them I’m even less sure which way this thing is gonna go.

Can you elaborate? I don't know anything about him, and haven't seen his comments.

Paraphrasing, but basically in his opinion what eroded BASS was politics and favoritism. People remember popular names long after they’ve stopped producing at a high level and sponsors know that. Backing trumps talent, so the sport wasn’t being driven by talent.

Said MLF is going down the same road, by any metric used there are a dozen or so guys not invited that are better than those who did, but they aren’t in the club. Something to the effect of “if you don’t throw a shitty white rod, you aren’t in”. Specifically named Thrift, who is a top 5 guy in the world. Basically thinks Duckett did this to gut BASS because they refused his offer to buy.
