WTF, go back and read the thread, I only posted something about what I thought the best meat was until Infidel asked some specific questions and I answered them, I never said anything bad about fence hunting, just my opinion ...then you come in hear half cocked and cussing me out , sounds like yo u are the one with some sand in your twat

Well in that case I apologize
But my question still stands, if you don't like high fence hunting why would click on a thread about high fence hunting? Clearly it was to come in and state your opinion and just as clearly it's not appreciated.

As I said earlier I wanted to see what his thoughts were, a few weeks ago infidel posted that he was going in a fence and would post how it went and what he thought about it , I was interested, I read and looked at the pics and did not start any shite or call any names, then he asked questions and I answered them

I go process a bunch of meat I may or not have killed in a hunt that may have actually been just a mass shootin and I come back to this. You boys sure are opinionated! Lol

I don't care if you used hand grenades and tannerite as long as you share the bounty

Yes I've had both. The moose I killed in Canada was not as good as elk imho. I've had sheep also.
I still think axis>elk>fallow>caribou>whitetail>muleys >moose
Sheep I haven't had a big enough sample yet
I'll take axis or elk over any beef

Well, my hats off to Infidel for being so honest about his experience. I've hunted high fence and I had a total blast. Best part is not having to put up with a bunch of WMA hunting assholes who don't really know how to handle a rifle. Most do, but some don't and I'm always afraid of getting shot by a dipshit on public land. Survived Iraq, only to get shot by a 3-toothed sheep fricker.
This year, I hunted elk for the first time. I went into the mountains by myself and came down with an elk I killed with my favorite .308 rifle (Tikka, by the way). I felt very accomplished, but I didn't have as much fun as I do at a Texas ranch.
By the way, I respect each person's own opinion. It's not fair to bait a man into argument though. I don't think Tigerpaw had that intention.
One other point.....if you've ever killed a nice buck in Louisiana.....it was most likely a descendant from Wisconsin. The subspecies 'Southeastern Whitetail' is not a big species at all. Big bucks were trapped and then released in Louisiana to increase genetics and appeal of hunting deer. So, in a way, hunting big whitetail in Louisiana is like hunting imported exotics?
Food for thought......

People have been transplanting species for hunting purposes for thousands of years. Game preserves and management is indeed a very old concept.
