Sorry and I feel for you and your family...... Maybe our coonass relatives are having a gumbo up there? My mom and dad departed 4 years and 1 year ago. I miss them......

Hope he is dancing with Mawmaw in the sky right now. Greatest thing about losing loved ones is it gives me stories to tell and one more person looking down on me to strive to make proud. I have a son that's going to carry the family name and I guarantee that he will know who he follows and his blood line and better carry the torch

Thanks to all the prayers and thoughts. Knowing him he needs help getting through those gates. I will say he was impressed by the hunting here in the Felicianas and I plan on having him along for every one from here on out.

Both of mine passed in theast 10 years. Still get a smile on my face and a tear in my eye when I think of them.

I will lift up prayers for you and your family.

My maternal grandfather died when I was 2 so I don't remember any of the time I had with him. My paternal grandfather died 2 years ago. He was a sugarcane farmer. I still remember the last time I brought him in the field. I still get choked up to this day when I ride in the field and think about what he did to get our farm where it is today.

Sorry for your loss. I really didn't know my pawpaws. Wished I had. Sounds like he made a good impression on you.

Sorry for your loss big guy

Prayers for you and your family. You will always have the memories. I still think of my Grandpa everytime I fish. He was a character. Made us wave at the birds when we we kids because it was bad luck not to. had a nickname for every spot we fished and most people that came along.
